In our farm, there is one lotus pond and three fish ponds.
Without a doubt, the Lotus is a stunning plant on Amrit Kunja Organic Permaculture Farm. You will witness many lotus flowers blooming in our lotus pond during April/May/June. Lotus has many medicinal uses.
Every year during May/June we add around 400 fish to our fish pond and then catch them in Jan/Feb. We can sell some of the fish in the village and keep the rest of them in another pond so that we can catch the whole year. Sometimes volunteers can catch the fish themselves and prepare them to eat.
